Dungeon Blitz

    We have discussed the concept of online gaming as a topic of the week. Then we used dungeon blitz tool as in class activity for online gaming. Dungeon blitz is an online game that allows people to play games and interact with others by inviting others to play it. It also allows people to pick color and other things as well as they can choose the class they want. And each class has its own play style, the users can customize the character they want by choosing a specific class.

    This tool serves as creating a fun by allowing users to play game and helps them to interact with other players easily. The users can also invite friends and find new people using this game. Dungeon blitz was integrated with Facebook and this made it much easier to Facebook users to sign in and start gaming, I think this was the most interesting thing within this tool because you don't need to use much personal information to create account if you have a Facebook account. But I was challenged in how to organize the different classes with their play styles and make a powerful attacks.
   I think dungeon blitz can improve communication because it allows players to communicate with other players and friends. It also complicate communication because when people are playing the game they pay their attention on game they are playing in so I think they may have no time to communicate with others.
    However, it was a grate fun game and I enjoyed it and it was also a good experience and learning opportunity for me to know more about this game. I was spend sometimes to play with it but honestly it was interesting.

Second Life

The topic of this week was "Second Life" which is a virtual community where people can interact with each other using free text and voice chats. It serves as an important tool that allows people to create some kind of activities that they use in their real life. People can buy or sell item through Second Life so I think its a good tool for business. Its also good for entertainment because people can play games and other entertainment things through Second Life.
The most interesting thing about Second Life tool is that different options that you can customize your appearance in Second Life. For example you can customize as people, animals, robots, vehicles, and ect. My greatest challenge about this tool was how understand different techniques that used to play with different games. 
I think Second Life improves communication because it offers a free voice and text chat that can help people to interact with others. I think it also too complex for new user to understand all different things within Second Life before start to interact with others.
I think it is a good opportunity for me to learn new social media tool that I never used before and enjoyed to play with the tool but I have a little hard to determine this tool is a place for entertainment or a place for interaction.
